Do you understand the difference between existential and immanent knowledge? Ultimately, both answers are correct according to perspective. Or by another equation both can be argued to have the same meaning. Keep in mind as you delve into the depths of philosophy/philology

It depends on how you define soul. Sould as in a ghost thing that goes away when I die to heaven, no. There is no evidence. When I die, I die. But if you define soul as your identity and psychological concious neural entity and its associative thoughts that are linked in a memory databse in such a way to make you remmember them in certain ways...then yes.
