Because the body can't contain the emotions anymore, and the body jus had to let it out, to feel the release.

The answer is just the difference between a machine and human !
Humans are capable of emotion, the manifestation of the intuitional aspect of mind (the other aspect is logical), and crying is one of the manifest forms of emotion !

Extreme emotions, when emotions good and bad become overwhelming we release those emotions by crying. They say you always feel better after a good cry...

When the internal emotions becomes overflow in your mind, it comes out external in many ways

its a climatic release of internal emotion...whether happy, sad, angry, frustration, whatever.......
