I do want to do a study abroad program when I'm in college, but I'll be a senior, so I'm more concentrated on where I want to go. I am looking at Performing Arts/Drama as the major, with a minor in Entreprenurel(Sp?whatever) studies, but I also want to learn the basics of film making.

i'm a trumpet performance major starting my sophomore year of college. i've been playing tpt for about 9 years and piano for about 12 years. i'm leaving on a trip to europe for 29 days next summer and am stressing out over how to keep my lips/hands in shape. on previous travels, i have brought my mouthpiece with me. is this the only solution?

I'm going to a family reunion in a few weeks, and part of the schedule is a family talent show. I'd really like to participate, but I can't think of anything that I'm that good at. I have an OK-ish singing voice on my best day, I can't dance, I'm not the comedic type, and my acting skills are non-existent. (And if you're wondering why I want to participate- I don't want to be the person sitting down and not participating in anything.)

Don Ho's niece got pregnant when she was a teenager by a guy named David (white boy) and they made him sign away his rights and when she married the guy adopted him as his own. I wonder if the kid knows why he looks mixed between polynesian and white..

A lot of people have told me that I should get piano lessons because it would help me with oboe. I have always wanted to take piano lessons, but I don't have a private instructor for oboe right now so should I focus on finding one or should I look into piano lessons?

I just want a guitar to fool around with. I have never played a guitar before, I'm a drummer and want to mess around with something else. I'd like to spend under $200 (yeah thats cheap but I'm 14 and its my money, not my parents) and I can get a Bullet for that price. I've read some reviews and they've said it was pretty good for the price (around $115).

Okay. I'm entering into a musical contest next month. It's a solo act, 1 song, only 90 seconds to sing it (can cut out a verse or something to make the song short enough). Must be sung a'capella. I spoke to a couple of the judges yesterday, and they are looking for 'known' peices (just meaning that they want to be able to recognize the song).

I'm 19 and have good breath control and diversity in dynamics. I can sing anything from tenor - soprano 1, and I like most every genre. Though, I do prefer to sing broadway music, or country.I'm just asking for opinions of what to sing. I've already gone through my list, and not liked any that I saw. And I'm looking at a couple that were already suggested, and really didn't seem to like any.
So, if you can think of anything that may fit the limits of the contest, I'd definitely appreciate any answers :)

Thanks!
