It was a Christian group. They had limited airplay. That's all I remember, aside from some lyrics.

I'm not a bad singer. I perform in musicals and whatnot... I'm just looking for a way to be more on key. Are there any excercises that can help my recognize pitches. I have acess to piano and I can read music if this helps at all. Any advice?

I am interested in finding a reputable modeling agency in NYC for my two children. Sound easy, try again, NYC has more than its fair share of questionable businesses. If anyone knows the name and address of a specific agency either through direct contact or a friend, please feel free to name them.

Everyone gets a kick out of my use of my thick bass baritone range. In band we'll have to sing out parts. Only me and about four others can sing it in tune. I belt out my part and they think its hilariious with all the vibrato. If I go along singing something people don't take me seriously. Its not because I lack musical as I do, according to a lot of people. I guess the style and timbre of my voice is really not heard at all in pop music. It really doesn't bother me, just curious as to what you think would bolster this.

I know to sing you must have 4 main things: Vibrato (voice vibrations), Good Voice, Breath Technic, and Good Pitch and Tune. People say I sing well, but I drift off key sometimes and my pitch isn't always correct. How do I practice pitch? I have a piano. Please tell me step by step how to practice singing in pitch. I really love to sing.

I have a singing instructor to help me, but I was looking for some tips/exercises to do on my own. I need to expand my range for an audition in a few months. I need to be able to hit the D above the staff, ideally. All your advice is much appreciated, thank you!!

Okay, here's the story... I've always been passionate about the performing arts, even since elem, school. Well, I got older and decided to major in theatre, but the department is very unprofessional and everybody's telling me I can't get a job when I get out, so I left and changed my major to English. THe problem is is that I am TOTALLY passionate about the performing arts... Is this just a " pipe dream?" Should I major in this, or stick with english, the safer bet? Please help!

The local bars won't hire me without a following and with my one man band it's hard to find a place to play. Is this an abuse of My Space using it in this way? Would you be irritated if you recieved a freindly invitation to hear my music. I do want to make friends with these people as well.

I can read sheet music pretty well. I sometimes want to play a song, but can't find the sheet music on the internet. I think it would be alot easier to play by ear then searching the internet for music. Do you have any tips for playing piano by ear?
