Youngun, you need to pick a genre, drama, mystery, comedy, etc., decide on a plot line, lay out a scene by scene outline, figure out where your denouement goes, right your dialog, assemble your sound effects, and put it on tape (or what ever you put it on now days). I found that the parables of Jesus provide very good base for a script - that you can apply to modern days.

do a story about a man married and then comes out of the closet with another man. watch r. kelly's video trapped in the closet. it is hilarious and will give you some good ideas.

Try 'An Inspector Calls' by J.B. Priestley.....it's filled with suspense and has a detective kind of plot.
