I also love to sing, but it's the same thing. It's starting to be a real problem.

I mean, I hold the pick between the side of my index finger and the pad of my thumb. My index finger naturally wants to stretch out all the way. If I let it stretch out, then it touches the strings because the last joint of my index finger extends beyond the length of the pick. So I curl my index finger into my hand. It takes a big effort to keep the index finger curled up. It keeps coming uncurled as I play. Will it eventually just stay there if I keep trying to curl it in? Or will it always be that way? I'm still unsure of the most efficient way to hold the pick. I've tried a bunch of different grips and I just want to use a grip that will not limit my progress due to its inefficiency. So, will the index finger eventually stay where I want it? What's the most efficient way to hold the pick? Any playing tips would be appreciated.

It's such an odd phrase. I've heard it had "eschewing the scenery" (i.e., ignoring the production) as it's root, but I can't find anything to back that up.

Thoughts?

I saw an episode of Breakfast with the Arts yeeeeears ago where there were people performing (ballet) to music (kinda creepy sounding at times)... It was kind of surreal and was very different.

Kinda had a Pink Floyd's the Wall feel to it...kind of.

Anyone know of any more movies or anything like that that was good? I tried finding the one I saw, but the people at A&E won't give me an itinerary going that far back. Was probably close to a decade ago.

Come on now. There's always some poor idiot stuck with playing the bassoon. The thing is gigantic and looks like a bazooka. Like that kid is going to have girls hanging alll over him anyway. Do you have to assign him the stupidest instrument ever? Like they couldn't have made it any smaller? I'll bet a lot of people from Delaware love the bassoon.

I took concert photos recently at concerts by Jamie Cullum, Sufjan Stevens and Barbra Streisand. Can I sell them? Where? Would anyone buy them?
