It depends on the setting. Singing usually isn't a problem. Look at the lights for a second or two and you can't see the audience in the dark. When the start to show up again, look at the lights again for a second (not so long as to burn your retinas). This keeps the pupils closed and then you can't see them. Just like when you were two years old playing peek-a-boo, if you can't see them, they can't see you.

As for a conference room, just remember they will all have their turn and they're probably as nervous as you are. Also GO FIRST! Get it over with and don't dread and get nervous over it. If that doesn't work imagine them in their underwear.

well first u kno that every1 is looking at you and liek u should never look down and act shy cuz then they're not gonna be interested in ur report... u should be confident and think that when ur done u will feel alot better.. dont be in a rush but dont make it boring either...

can you have your paper or at least some notes with you when youre up there? if you are allowed, DO IT. and instead of looking at peoples eyes, make 'eye contact' by either looking at the peoples' hairstyles or their eyebrows. or you can look at where people are sitting or something like that. i also have stagefright, and that always works for me.

instead of looking directly in their eyes - look at their foreheads - i still cannot make eye contact - but this seems to work
