I saw an episode of Breakfast with the Arts yeeeeears ago where there were people performing (ballet) to music (kinda creepy sounding at times)... It was kind of surreal and was very different.

Kinda had a Pink Floyd's the Wall feel to it...kind of.

Anyone know of any more movies or anything like that that was good? I tried finding the one I saw, but the people at A&E won't give me an itinerary going that far back. Was probably close to a decade ago.

Wow, it sounds wonderful.

I can only guess -- but some Pina Bausch might get you close.
The Netherland Dance Company is pretty hip and in tune and does some odd bits. They made some pieces "for the camera" that I've seen on PBS that were awesome.

George Balanchine did some surreal work as well. And even Ballet Russes offered up some Futurist work (but that was probably just as film was being invented, lol).

I'll link you some below to help your hunt.

John Cage did several - in one, he had dancers go around the building with microphones picking up the ambient noises (dripping faucet, wind blowing over the roof, etc.) and that was the "music" other dancers performed to on stage. His "Butterfly #5" consisted of opening one window in the performance hall, and letting a butterfly loose on stage. The piece was finished when the butterfly made its way out the open window.

Sexual performance art? I guess that would be a really classy strip club.
