If you couldn't find anything online, what you might try is calling your local library. Or go your library website, and look for books by these people. My friend is an actress, she gets new monologues all the time from the library.

If you don't know what books to ask for, first go to Amazon and search for the author names. For example, Tony Kushner:

Your branch is likely to many books by them.
(BTW, saw Kushner's Angels in America on HBO. Great material.)
Good luck.

[resp] Perhaps try these Monologue databases:

I personally don't think you can be in love with someone until you've been around them in real life. But it can be a great start, it's the same as if you guys had already had a few dates. My cousin met her husband online... It's not a loser-ish thing. Sooo many people are doing that nowadays, because it's just easier. You don't feel as nervous and you can let your actual personality shine through, whereas when you meet someone in a bar, you're all concerned with first impressions. Anyway, I hope he flies down, and good luck to the both of you.
