You can increase vocal range some. Your voice is a very sophisticated instrument. If you smoke you still can sing, but it does decrease your vocal range. If you a natural baratone don't expect to be able to sing soprano. :) For the majority of people it will only increase a few notes in range. Breath support as well will increase your natural vocal range. Not everyone however can have the same vocal ranges. Also make sure you get with a vocal teacher that can teach you how to increase the range you do have. You may have an incredible range already but not be able to use the range you have.

Try checking out a book called Singing for the Stars by Seth Riggs and if you can get with a vocal coach who uses speech level singing technique you will make better progress.

you can't really increase your range, as much as "make those squeaky notes usable". With enough practice and good vocal technique, you can make your higher register (which is only a few notes for women, but can be several octives for men) sound loud and reliable enough to use in performance.

Yes, but it takes a LOT of work. If you're still young, you may want to start taking vocal lessons now, but realize that your voice won't actually settle until you're 35 or so anyway...

I've done it.
Get lessons or a coach or whatever.
I've had really good tips and i dont have any problem reaching really high or really low notes.
