There is a big difference between knowing and being able to do a magic trick and performing magic. It takes practice and a certain showmanship to really perform magic.

Take a simple trick- like the one where you lay out several columns of cards, pick them up, redeal them, and then reveal the chosen card. You've seen it a milion times. It is kinda tedious, and you KNOW the 'magician' is doing something odd- otherwise why the questions and redeals?

On the other hand, someone who has really studied the trick and practiced it will have a perfectly good explaination of why you are doing everything- basically, they will do a mini-play with the deck and suck you in.

I've seen a hundred examples of a good magician doing a trick I've seen a million times and think is a yawner- and the good magician can lure me in and astound me with it.

Bottom line- if you wanna do magic, be magical about it- not just the guy running around begging people to watch another dumb card trick!

I used to be fascinated with magic tricks, especially the escape artists, and used to idolize Houdini when I was a youngster. Not everyone is familiar with all the tricks, so you could probably find a "how-to" book and whet your appetite, and amaze your friends.
I still practice slight-of-hand occasionally, just to see if I can still do it. But I need to learn some new tricks, because my friends already know my somewhat limited repertoire. It's good fun and seems truly amazing if you don't know the secret to how the trick is done. Get yourself a beginner's book, if you don't already have one, and have yourself some fun!! Who knows? You may be the next David Copperfield!!

If you assert so. Your brain is so closed not anything any Christian says will difference your brain, to your center is so closed to the reality, and should you enable it to stick that means lengthy then your center will come to be so harden closer to God, that it is going to in no way be capable to be opened and notice the reality.
