My band is going to contest tomorrow and I have a oboe solo to play. When I first got my solo, I didn't want to play it because I was scared but eventually I got used to playing it in front of people. Now we are going to contest and not only do I have to play it in front of people but also judges. I am really scared. I have been sick all week and haven't really got to practice. What if my reed breaks or what if I mess up and it causes our band to do bad? I'm freaking out. Any advice?

do i have a chance? i heard that its a lot harder for asians to get into broadway than caucasian. also, do u have any suggestions for me to get in? im 13, so i cant move to NYC or something, and my schedule is packed with my clarinet, piano, and drama club so i cant perform in the drama program @ our local theater. Also, i cant do the summer musical because it costs too much money. But, a lot of people say that im a good singer and actor, and im not the greatest dancer(ive never taken dance lessons) i can learn really quickly. do looks count? because a friend of mine(her mom briefly performed in broadway) she said that my looks were probably good enough to get in...so, could neone help? do i have a chance?

Hey. Me and my girlfriend are going to London in March and wanted to see The Mousetrap at St. Martin's theatre, but the tickets are loads and we can only really afford the upper stalls.

Does anyone know what our view would be like, or would it be wasting our money?

Examples would be like Tango De Roxanne from Moulin Rogue and Cell Block Tango from Chicago. Songs with those types of rythms and beats where you can perform a seduction scene. Please & thank you for your help.
