Hi, I'm doing a play at school, "A Doll's House" by Heinrich Isben. We are doing the scene where Nora dances the tarantella. We are trying to put a modern twist on the play and are using modern pop/rock music, for example we are using Dirty Pretty Things in one point. Basically I'm looking for a modern track in 4/4 or 6/8 time, thanks for any help!

I'm thinking of taking lessons.

Would you reccommend an online course, play by CD, local music store or looking for an ad in a local paper?

Also, I'd like to get a portable keyboard with certain sounds such as.. a Hammond organ, a good piano sound, (upright, baby grand or grand piano sound) among others, but those two are the most important.

Any ideas of brands or models you know of or have played would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know of any schools that have a great opera program for undergraduate students? Any in particular great for an aspiring dramatic mezzo with a huge voice, like myself?

Why should it ever matter if you find the most beautiful creature on Gods green earth?, If you really loved him or her, then you'd make the right decision to let them have a better life than what you could provide. If you sincerely loved someone, then you'd sacrifice your happiness for their's. Where does pure love ever turn out groovy for good?

I am 10 and have wanted to be a singer/dancer/songwriter since I was 5. I did dance classes from the age of 4. I also have a vocal coach. My teachers and people who have seen me perform tell me I'm good. I was successful in a major musical a few yrs ago but my parents did not allow me to perform as they believed I was too young. I don't agree with the American Idol format. So please people don't suggest that show. I would be so happy if you could give your opinions on which place is the best for a singer/dancer/songwriter to pursue a career - London, New York or Los Angeles.

Ok Im 15 and i love singing and in the past 6 months I've had two different teachers. I left the last because I didn't think I was improving (all he basically taught me was to belt everything out) and I thought I was getting worse. Anyway at first the new singing teacher seemed far more professional, he corrected my breathing, and currently we are trying to work in high notes my normal powerful belter voice, I don't understand it entirely but aparently sometimes I get it just right. I think I sound ok at lessons but when i get home I think I sound worse than ever. Does this sound like what i should be doing? Should I look for another teacher again, if so how do i know who is a good teacher? etc. Should I quit altogether if im just getting worse? Or is it possible that Im picking up on things i wouldn't have before.
