Talent Show Themes and MArketing Ideas NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!?

My school is having a talent show in march, we need as much sugeestions and ideas needed; especially on how to market the Talent Show.

My church once did a talent show/hamburger supper for five dollars you got hamburger, chips, cookie and drink and admission to the talent show.

I have 3 ideas for you.

1. How about a night at vaudeville. Call it Vaudville 2007. THis allows for Variety so you can have any type of act. You can look up some old Vaudeville comedy skits for the MC to use and you can market by just copying how they used to do publicity for Vaudeville. Just do some searches online for vaudeville acts and marketing. You might even find some old posters you can photoshop and use.

2. Viva Las Vegas: Do it all like a vegas lounge. As you know, anything goes in Vegas. You can have the MC be like Wayne Newton or Elvis. You can have raffles and contests for the audience to participate in and if you are on a budget the prizes can be things like A photo with Elvis, Free Lunch Buffet in the Cafreteria, Backstage Tour of Cheerleading Practice, etc. You get the idea.... Advertise with Vegas style billboards, Print on the back of playing cards for handouts, etc.

3. Freak Show : Hurry, Hurry, Hurry. Step right up and see the strangest wonders of the world. A 6 foot man eating chicken... A half wolf half man, a horse with it's head where it's tail should be. (Look these up. they are classic). Come and see the strangest human oddities at the 2007 Freak Fest. We promise to amaze, mystify and maybee even scare you with the strange things you will see.
