Why should it ever matter if you find the most beautiful creature on Gods green earth?, If you really loved him or her, then you'd make the right decision to let them have a better life than what you could provide. If you sincerely loved someone, then you'd sacrifice your happiness for their's. Where does pure love ever turn out groovy for good?

Love can and does last forever for some people.
Real love - the kind that does last forever - isn't an "intellectual" thing about who can provide what kind of life for whom. It isn't about someone else making you happy by being with you. Its about two people making each other feel "whole". If people find that type of love they don't see life separated as ever being able to be better than being together and feeling whole.

Read the 'Art of Loving' by Erich Fromm. The thing that I took from that is that love is an active rather than passive state. It's not just something that happens to you or even a feeling it is more a set of personal commitments and decisions.

We have all been falsly lead to believe that love is the highest power in the world and the driving force that makes life worth living. Love is great, don't get me wrong, and maybe for most people it is the single strongest and greatest elemetn in thier lives. But love by itself is not enough to make happyness, or even contentment. Love is a possitive element in a healthy life, but it is not all of it. Do not seek to put to much preasure on love to solve your problems, or it will let you down. Enjoy it for what it is, seek it to add it to your life, and let enhance your existance. Nothing more.

Love babies u get nothing in exchange besides satisfaction which grow in mind sponteniously.We do love them only with no expectation. here is pure love.

it all depends on individuals
for most people it seems to be temporary but a lot of people love the same person all their live but they tend to be of the older generation who had different values
