Does anyone know any good places in San Diego for amateurs to sing?

I am hoping to pursue singing as a career and I need experiece singing in front of crowds. Does anyone know where I can sing? I don't play any instruments or have anyone that could play for me so it would have to be a karaoke-type thing. Please only name places in San Diego. Thank you!

Sure. Try the karaoke bar at South and Main Streets. Great atmosphere, and 1/2 price beer on Friday nights.
