I'v began to consider my options after high school and decided that I want to pusue a career in music. (piano and vocal preformance) Are there any good music schools or universities with good music programs in California? Preferably Southern California? Thanks:)

There are plenty of excellent music programs in California. UCLA has a music program; UC Irvine has a program, and they even have programs in ethnomusicology and musicology. UC San Diego has a SOM, and USC as well... plenty of other schools of music in the Sunshine state, but those are some of the more well-known ones. Different schools have different specialties, as well. My school, the University of the Pacific, has a pretty well respected Music Education program.

If you go to the webpage below, you'll find a listing of all the music schools and conservatories in California. There are links to all of them on the site, so you can find out more about each.

Good luck! :)

Check out the Berkley School of Music or any college near you. Most schools have a music program and their information can be found on their main websites.
