These are the good times!! (singing)

It's a commentary on what different people consider 'good times'. It is written in black slang, and talks about how they are happy that the rent is paid, the insurance salesman is gone, they managed to pay the light bill, etc - to someone who has never been in the position of having to decide whether to pay the light bill or eat, they wouldn't consider just hanging around drinking in the kitchen to be 'good times'. Different perspectives.

i think it's wonderful too. to me it sounds american but I'm probably a little biased. the poem is real in it's depiction of how the little things in life can be meaningful and rewarding.
