The song comes in several different arrangements and keys. You can find it online.

Lion Sleeps Tonight Midi:

Another Yahoo! person suggested this site when I asked where I could find sheet music for that song.

By the way, those people have the words wrong. The ones you can't really understand that sound really cool anyway are in some kind of African language. I've sung the song before (but that was a long time ago). A wim o weh, a wim o weh,... (or something like that; I'm pretty sure that's not the correct spelling). And that one part with the octave leap goes something like this: a weeeeeeeeeeeeee-eee-ee-eee a wee um um o weh. (kinda hard to write it or type it 'cause so much of it is just one elongated "eeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound.)

Well children around the age, lets say 3 and older, haven't the brain to process what might the lions REALLY been doing. Kids that age shouldn't even know about sex or how simba's girlfriend and got pregnant. And, teenagers would probably think its "uncool" to watch kids movies like that and wouldn't even take note if they did, but, I'm a teenager and I beg to differ and that its one of THE most greatest movies made. I didn't even notice what the lions were supposedly really doing until I read this, but even so, its nature for every animal and human to do so. But, oh well, everyone has opinions.

I think you're taking the sex thing a bit far. You're really projecting your own knowledge and feelings about the subject onto something that's much more innocent. So they're rolling around, really not a big deal. I agree with Kristin, I found Muffassah dying much more traumatic for my kids, I had to explain the whole issue of death to them when they were quite young, It made them very fearful, just like when Bambi's mother died. I couldn't deal with that for ages. But we talked about it (over and over and over) so they could work through their fears. I suggest whatever you or your kids find disturbing in any movie, keep the communication open with your kids so they can bring up any topic and feel free to discuss.

I would depend what key you chose to play it in. Can't you plink it out on the piano and figure it out. If not - you can probably get the sheet music online.
