I am not the author.

"The Shepherd of the Sands"

By his will the grains will bend
like sight against a looking glass
By the story of his life
The world would change
but the sea of the sun would swarm to its master
And all that was done will be done again
When he lifts his hand
When he chooses to try

By life his desert will slip away
like reading into an abyss
By the scars on his face
The words would prove true
but the sound of his faith would fall under their feet
And the cracking of this image will unfold again
When he stands so high
When his beauty is not the world's

By his love the sands will bury
like clouds o'er hatred's grave
By the choice he has made
The thought of emotion would die
but the lost light in memory would always be hope
And the instance of reliving will redeem again
When his story wakes him
When his dusts clear the stones

What are a few (maybe 3 or 4) important pieces of art from all around the world? Please help me because I need this for my project in school so yah thank you a few I that I can think of are; the taj mahal, mona lisa, and Eiffel tower. I don't want the great wall because my teacher thinks we already know so much about it that it would be useless to list it because we wouldn't learn anything new from it since we already know all about it. Ok well thank you!

when did women begin hiding thier age and weight or refusing to answer the question "how much do you weigh"? or "how old are you"? Why did this come about?

Has it always been that way?

Need help wording a dedication/card/message, whatever you want to call it, for my longtime boyfriend. I am making a photo album of all our 2006 adventures and events, of which there were many. On the first page I want to include a message that convey's how great the past year has been and what it means to have him in my life and that I look forward to future adventures. I am not a very deep or emotional person though so I am having difficulty saying that sweetly, sincerely and succinctly or creativly. What would you say? I know it seems silly to ask others this, but if you are a writer maybe you are better with words than me, maybe at least your words will help me get going, or get in touch with my more compassionate side. However, a reminder this will be read by others since it is in a book. I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions. Thanks for the help!

For example, they don't always use proper sentence structure, punctuation, or use proper grammar. Their sentences aren't very complex. Is it possible that this person could be a poor writer, yet be intelligent at the same time? For example, they didn't take many composition/ english courses in college. And they didn't pay attention in the ones that they did take. But they still somehow aced college as a political science major. And some of their instructors would state, "the writing seems to be the problem here" on their essay tests that they returned to them. They had a good understanding of the lectures and text, had good critical thinking skills, but they couldn't express their thoughts in a well written manner. And in personal letters/ emails they find that folks that didn't attend college or have take few courses have better writing skills than them. Yeah, let's use that as a HYPOTHETICAL example. Haha.

For the past 2 weeks I've had the same recurring dream- please help me understand what they mean

Dream 1
My aunt passed away about 5 years ago and just recently I've been getting the wheels in motion to get my life goals accomplished, well I've been having some doubts and worries lately but for past week I've had a dream about her, it was with my mom and my sister and some other people, we were in a crowded place and all of a sudden she appeared, she was sitting there right beside me, I could see her and so could my sister and I was getting upset because I knew she was there but she was paying no mind to me really and she disappeared off with my sister they got into a car and my Aunt was driving I stood up and screamed WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH ME and then they took off they came back and my sis got out of the car and I got into the car with her as she started driving I started talking about plans and dreams I had and I asked her if everything was going to be ok and will
