Though my body will die eventually
It is sacred;It is special
Those that I choose to share myself with admire me also.
I've always known gods love;
He is forgiving and will never forsake me
I may not be perfect but my imperfections define who I am
You have hurt me;abused me;molested me
But I have risen above you and your perversion
My life has meaning; my soul is immortal
I am myself
I am beautiful

In life that is my goal/
For rules the druglord follows none/
and lives of things he stole/
His wealth and power, they are vast/
His attitude so bold/
For plants that once were none but weeds/
Are worth their weight in gold/
Hooray for wars fought on drugs ma/

She was a metaphor
a thought
carefully crafted
in the minds of the willing.
In my life
I saught after her
paid a price far too extravagant to mention
and yet she still evades me.
She was a hope
a giggle released from the lips
of a sleeping child
during the storms of life
and so I wait for her
Imagine her
consecrate my flesh for her
until she is attained

She is love.

Thanks to everyone who replied to my previous question.I would like your honest opinion about this poem I wrote,please.

A Letter

Dear Girl,
I thought I should tell you
I am very full today-so much so that there is quite a space constraint--
with all sorts of feelings jostling for my attention.
I am feeling tugs all the time
whenever he is coming into your sight
I wonder why?
Anyways, maybe you should know-
it is becoming rather uncomfortable
if you transmit confused signals all the time
I am sending smiles to your face at most unlikely times—
sometimes with tears, even.
And you know, I almost turned over with joy
when he called you ‘beautiful’.
So, if you see I am a little dysfunctional today
its not entirely my fault, you know who to blame.

Tell me why I still feel hollow
because you are incomplete
what does it mean to me
whether or not you get what you deserve from life?
It does not matter to you!
Tell me why I cannot let go
although you have left me far behind-
so completely forgotten
you never ever needed me, did you?
Tell me why even as I say these things
my heart is turning over with pain-
at least it lets me know that I still do have a heart!
I feel shriveled up inside
the fire that burnt inside me so long has been put out,
it’s only the charred black that remains.

We're rebels of the current world view
nobody cares about us
cept those that have to

a world
a whole galaxy it seems

stardust turns to plasma
while day turns to night

This is a poem that I just wrote tonight about my first love. Tell me what you think, guys. I think it's really good.

Inspiration is over-rated
When my willowing heart
Is turning as black
As the ashes composing
Our shredded romance
That fell to the ground
That sweet summer night,
That stopped beating and died.
The ashes are slipping
Through our bloody fingers
And time is precious.
Can we make this right?
Can we repair our burden?
We could make things
How they used to be.
Crawl into memories,
Stay clinging to yesterday
As the mockingbird
Sings sweet serenades.
Kisses of death
Can't stop us now-
We already died
That sweet summer night.
And if you hide behind your mask,
Our future can never be our past.

He sits at the desk again
grasps the pen
with intentions of a sonnet
but forgets once more
in staring at the door
she is gone

He glances at the empty place
her things packed in a case
and closes his eyes
the unbearable stillness
upon him like an illness
she is gone

He reaches out
with a shout
in the night
and feels nothing near
it’s now becoming clear
she is gone

He sits at the table
built sturdy and stable
while everything else is broken
She left him just that-
the table at which they sat
she is gone

He sings their song
but something’s wrong
he can’t sing it alone
It was the first and last dance
for the lovers in a trance
she is gone

I know it isn't quite there yet. help?
