My assignment for tonight is to draw a picture of my choice, and then write a poem about it, but i have no idea what to do! any ideas . . . especially with the poem. D;

Draw a picture reflecting how the world is today. Use symbolism. Like not necessarily drawing the world and the war, but maybe a person laying down with their arms and legs detached to show that countries aren't working together. Draw a person being mean to an animal. That could represent a large, powerful country bullying a smaller, less influential country. Art is an expression of the heart. Draw what's on your mind.

No, no, no. Write the poem first because it is a much more broad topic and it will be much easier. Think of it this way: you don't learn solve calculus before 2+5, so write the poem first. I suggest on a recent topic such as global warming.
