It gives Congress the power to lay taxes WITHOUT apportionment or regard to census/enumeration. So what does that mean? I kind of get it, but I want to be able to write it in 'easier' terms.

And I've been reading things from Wikipedia and other Y!A about how it conflicts with the Constitution?

If you were president during the 1790s, how would you have reacted to the Whiskey Rebellion? Was the US government justified in handling the rebels? What alternative forms of revenue would you suggest that would've avoided the conflict to begin with?

I am doing a small essay type thing for remembrance day on world war two, and my role in my group is to provide general facts about the war, such as the years the war lasted, the names of some major battles, what countries were involved and what countries were vicorious.
I know that it was between 1939-1945(right?)
that it started on september first when the nazi's invaded poland, adn that a few days later on sept. 3 britain and france were at war with germany.
I would like to know:
-the main allie countries
-the main axis(or whatever the term is) countries
-a summary or the war in simple english(I have done tons of research and don't understand it)
-I figure the good guys won, but wich countrie were victorious?

CT Russell wrote, "So, then, if we measure backward down the 'First Ascending Passage' to its junction with the 'Entrance Passage,' we shall have a fixed date to mark upon the downward passage. This measure is 1542 inches, and indicates the year BC 1542, as the date at that point. Then measuring down the 'Entrance Passage' from that point, to find the distance to the entrance of the 'Pit,' representing the great trouble and destruction with which this age is to close, when evil will be overthrown from power, we find it to be 3416 inches, symbolizing 3416 years from the above date, BC 1542. This calculation shows AD. 1874 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble; for 1542 years BC plus 1874 years AD. equals 3416 years. Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1874 was the chronological beginning of the time of trouble such as was not since there was a nation -- no, nor ever shall be afterward."
