Like some other people have said earlier, there are many theories about the roots of Hitler's anti-semitism. A good book to check out (or look on Wikipedia for a summary) is called Explaining Hitler. It goes through all the theories and points out evidence to support them. Warning -- It is a hard read, but you can find good general information.

Being anti-semitic at that point in time was a win-win situation. Nobody liked the jews; Hitler tried deporting them to other countries and they were sent back to germany. The good old USA turned a shipload away from Ellis Island and sent them back to go into a concentration camp; a movie was made several years ago about this event. But, winners write the history books so hitler was made the scapegoad and fall guy. Everybody else claims their hands are lilly white.

What "made" Hitler an anti Semitic?
In my opinion, nothing makes anyone anything. Peoples philosophy is a conscious decision. The culture that a person is born into, usually pervades their outlook on life, and colors their life experiences.
Anti-semitism has been rampant throughout Europe from times immemorial; and they, the Jews, have been persecuted from time to time, not only in Europe, but throughout the world.
Following Germany's defeat in WW I, its economy went south, and its society overall was chaotic. Any politician who hoped to gain national power, had to out of necessity, offer up a scapegoat for Germany's ills, and the most readily available candidate was as usual the Jews.
I hope this answers your question sufficiently, for your teachers requirements; if not, then I can only suggest you look up another source on the Internet for substantiation for your thesis. Just type in on the Search bar, Adolf Hitler, and you will be overwhelmed with information.
A hopefully helpful,
Wotan

it somewhat is a sturdy question, i think of. i ask your self, too. yet you're able to do no longer forget that the Allies did no longer be attentive to with regard to the Holocaust till close to the top of the of the conflict. yet they nevertheless hated him - it had no longer something to do with Jews/colored human beings/Gays/Disabled being killed. upload: in case you propose Germans related to him as a hero? properly, they consistently did, you be attentive to? i do no longer think of their thoughts replaced lots as quickly as they knew human beings have been being killed reason Hitler already wrote all of it in Mein Kampf. They too have been probably anti-Semitic. united statesa. replace into in reason for Japan, and Pearl Harbour. It replace into all approximately land in the beginning up. Hitler invading Poland replace right into a mistake. It introduced on declarations of conflict. And he's primary in the Mideast? @above: LOL Everytime I see somebody with it, I freak out. it is in simple terms instinct for some reason.

It was suggested in my history class that it was due to his upbringing when supposedly all the Jews were more succesful and well off, and all he saw was Christians suffering and in poverty.
