It was the biggest hotel in nineteenth century Washington D.C. and home to some amazing events and people, but I can't seem to find a good source on the subject. Tried to search net for it, but every hotel in D.C. now claims to be National or Historic... Any suggestions?

Rome developed a civilization that she (Rome) borrowed from Greece. She incorporated Greek culture into the empire with little, some, or great deal of modification. Describe the Greco-Roman world and the modifications necessary to make a fit. How did posterity benefit?

If the Titanic was the biggest ship in the World how come there was only 2,500 people on there and on other ships there was more people that died? Were there rooms with nobody in them ? or did they just have to many rooms for peoples entertainment ?
