Okay so maybe not a required college course, but I believe that Highschool youth should be required to take at least 3 years of History. No they may not care about the subject, or enter a career that directly deals with history, but nevertheless they should be required to pass it in order to graduate. I mean i was watching the history channel yesterday, and it was about the 3rd armored regiment. It was a very moving episode, The Amazing stories these world war II veterns told were so interesting. If I was in a war defending an entire countries freedom I would want to be remembered and cared about. I mean Hell if we lost WW2 and the world was ruled by a bunch of socialist dictators you can bet your *** the youth of america would care.... There is nothing more disgusting to me, than when i hear people say they could careless about history, and beign that im a highschool senior myself i hear it all too much. Who out there is with me in this, shouldnt History matter to todays youth?

For a project I have to research political and social events that happened in Southeast Asia (Brunei, Myanmar , Cambodia, East Timor , Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) in 1958 (supposedly it was an important year... I would like to know why). Please be specific and provide facts that have a full explanation. (The dates can be all around the 1950's and early 1960's. Any fact will do.)Thanks

Can we use the same Sonar technology used in Utah recently to prove once and for all that there are burial sites scattered throughout Europe? Afterall, it's time to solve the mystery behind who (or for that matter) how many souls actually are burried under German soil. Please, let's use Sonar technology to prove once and for all that the holocaust either happened or is just another event (obviously not larger than the black slave market), but this technology can and will prove once more that there are plots beneath the soil. I mean, museums are finding bones 10 million years old. I am certain that any fossils from 1945 could still be retrieved and brought to light. Someone please do it. Let's examine, explore the holocaust burial sites and bring the truth out into the light and clear the German people of atrocities they had nothing to do with. Is it so wrong to talk and speak about such a small event in history?
