He was a French general who became the emperor Napoleon I.
He rose to power after the French Revolution, with help of Abbey Seyes (sp?) and his pamphlet (sorry, I don't remember the title of the pamphlet).
He is responsible for the Continental System, which barred all of Europe (except Britain) from trading with Britain. This was not good for the economy of Europe, so Russia began to trade with Britain anyway.
Napoleon decides to conquer Russia, but fails (Russian winter was too cold).
He is then exiled to island of Alva (sp?).
After a while, he escapes and goes war with Britain.
At the Battle of Waterloo, he loses and is exiled again, but to St. Helena.

AFTER you have read and studied some of this material, IF you need help understanding a particular thing, THEN, it would be appropriate to ask a question. You could start by reading an encyclopedia article about him.

He was an emperor of France, who conquered a vast amount of land in Europe. He started off as a general, then because he won so much land for France, he got elected emperor.

he was very adept (dangerous) in certain ways like strategy and mobilizing but he didnt have the ability to know when to stop. over extended himself and his people causing much pain and suffering among his enemies and his own people. finally had to confine him to an island, twice in his lifetime i believe. can you imagine having the world exiling you to an island. they had to treat him like lex luther. i think he was finally poisoned to end his madness.
