Until World War I soldiers were considered as knights, brave and heroic men who fight and it was a glory to defeat the opponent. Why did the people change their views? They were affected before the world war too, and the war itself also wasn't a man-to-man fight from the 18th century . Any ideas or theories?

Hi. I'm in an AP US History course. Tomorrow we have to do a presentation comparing the Chesapeake/Virginia colony with the Mass. Bay and Plymouth colonies... Well my teacher said to praise the colony we're chosen to represent (in my case Chesapeake) and try to come up with reasons that that colony is better than the Mass. Bay and Plymouth colonies. Can u guys help me make a list of pros (not cons) of living in the Chesapeake/Virginia colony versus living in the Mass. Bay or Plymouth colonies? I really need to ace this presentation so any help would be so wonderfully appreciated- and i know y'all would apprecitae 10 pts!!!! Please help!!

Five million people have died in Congo due to mass genocide. This is currently happening as we speak. How come the no one is really doing anything about? The world let ten million Jews died in the forties. What's wrong with the government? Have you even heard about it? Why don't they put stuff like this in the news?
