Very interesting question!
I believe that teh concept of time travel is quite old. It seems, however, that the actual physics behind it really came about with Einstein.
All I could find on the subject was

Around 25, 000 BC, we started taking note that time traveled in one direction and we kept track of it by following the changing seasons to mark the hunt.

Regarding 'backwards' or 'fast forward' time travel, that hasn't been discovered yet, only theorized. Until they're discovered, we'll only travel time at the pace we're living as guided by entropy and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics...

The best evidence that we have to prove that time travel will never exist is the major lack of visitors from the future.

I didn't even know that they invented a time machine yet. I wanna go back in time and change a lot of things. I dont even know when it came out but if u get a chance can you tell me the website where I could buy one. Cause I really really want one!!
