I think you want to use the terms "Loyalist" or "Revolutionary" in regards to the American Revolution. I would have been a revolutionary because I believe we need to have religious freedom and a democratic form of government. Deep down I am a real rebel

Definitely a Tory/Loyalist. Committing treason to the crown isn't overly admirable.
