It's generally considered to be c.
But wait a minute! All that stuff they give you in school about rats and fleas is now under attack. The new idea is that it was a viral infection, and it fits better with what they've analysed from plague victims' bones and also with die ratios.

No one can be certain. A conservative estimate is 33% and a high estimate is 52%. 45% would be the closest between the two.
