After digging out my parents closet I found that my great-grandfather was Emir Alim Khan, descendant of Timur, descendant of Genghis Khan. Can anyone post the geneology (tree) of this bloodline? Or find the link to this?

I am 19 years old already and worried about the fact that I may be dating my own distant cousin and also the fact that I may be dating a person who was born a hermophodite or the fact that I may be dating a person who used to be a guy. I am a guy and straight. For those who say you won't be dating your own distant cousin, there is still a possibility since I do have a great amount of ancestry behind me. If I was to start dating, I might be dating my own 50th cousin without knowing it. Am I being paranoid when it comes to start dating?

Has it ever occurred to you that you may be dating your own xth cousin xth removed or the fact that you may be dating a person that is once the other gender when they are born?

After all, you have 4 grandparents, 8 g grandparents, 16 gg grandparents, 32 ggg grandparents, 64 gggg grandparents, and if anyone that is outside has the same gggg granddad number 4 (since you have 64 and there is no way that you can tell the difference), they are your cousin. and they might have more than 1 kid, so meaning there are much more chances that you may be dating your own xth cousin xth removed. There is no way that you can actually know which person used to be which gender also.

what is the latest ancestor that you still have? great grandma? and how old is that person? How far do you know your family like 8th cousin? I know only 2 of my 3rd cousin (same great grandparents). I have 8 great grandparents. Does that mean any of those decendants that are still alive is still called my cousin? That means I have thousands of cousins if we go back to my 100th cousins. I am really woried now, I might be dating one of my xth cousin.

Isn't it possible that when we are dating, we are actually dating our 8th cousin 5th removed? or something? since there is like a big a chance of dating one of your own ancestors? how do i prevent that? Is still like a dna test that will test that is like xth cousin and xth removed? I don't want to date my own current descendants.

We have the same last name. The good thing is that we are not in family relations. She isn't my long last family. My name is Micheal Chang, and my girlfriend's name is Christina Chang. I know she isn't my family. It's been 3 days of dating her. Should I continue dating her? I find her really attractive.

I know his name is Bruce Davies and approximate date of birth.
He lived in Greerton, Tauranga,New Zealand. He was good friends with my grandfather (his surname Gates - Te Keeti) who lived in Welcome Bay, Tauranga New Zealand. My mother said he was an only child. He may be about 65 - 67 yrs now.???I have a black and white photo of him with 3 other men and he looks to be in his mid to late 20's??? He doesn't know about me. Mum said he married and moved to Australia but i am not sure when. I was born in 1970 so it may have been before I came along.I would really appreciate any feedback.

I have heard that genetic testing can be done to determine all the races in your ancestry. Does anyone know where I can get more information on this?

As part of tracing our family history 1901 Census online has shown that my Great Grandparents were born in these areas. I'd be interested to find more information on the places as I've drawn blanks from many people I've asked

Through family history research, we have found that the name has Viking origins, I have also been told that the original name is Bagenholt, but I'm uncertain of the correct spelling of Bagenholt.
