I'm trying to find out where Shrewsbury Salop and Chilton Salop is or was?

As part of tracing our family history 1901 Census online has shown that my Great Grandparents were born in these areas. I'd be interested to find more information on the places as I've drawn blanks from many people I've asked

Salop is another name used for Shropshire, so do a search on Shrewsbury, Shropshire and Chilton, Shropshire and hopefully you will be in luck.
