Hmm, do you know what country he lives in today? That would be the start point, it is a big world, and the tools for each country to search are not overlapping, except the internet. A direct search for someone famous would be easy. For now, I will say try Italy first. So, use the Italy Phone book(s) below.

If he might be in the USA, then use ZABASEARCH or White Pages.
If he might be in another country use YAHOO SEARCH (it works better), find "White Pages ", or "PHONE Directory ", where country will be the country you thing he might be.
It is possible he is deceased, start with Family Search.com because it spans many countries, but then you will need to search for the Vital Record office where you believe he died.
This is not an easy task, made more difficult by not knowing where he may be living today. But you can find him, if you persist.
