Her mother was Myrtle Violet Palmer Born June 9,1887 in Nickerson, Nebraska. Marriage 1 Charles Erwin Wust Born 1909; Marriage 2.? Larsen we called an Uncle and he told us to leave it alone and stop Stirring up Trouble for the family. If It is my Mother I fell we have the right to know what the truth is just like anyone else does. Any HELP would be of great use. I have checked Ancestry.com and the Genealogy site and come up with a little but can't find anything on her Father or where she was born for sure.

Do you have DNA from all of your ancestors, even the first ones or does DNA eventually go away. Like for example, say someone has an ancestor from Isreal or Syria, would that make them part Jewish or part Syrian(though very little) or does DNA go away completely? I had asked a similar question, but I'm trying to simplify my question.

Neither my mother or her family is willing to tell me anything about my mothers past. I had heard that she was adopted, I also heard she may have a couple of siblings, and that her brother is deceased. But those are all unsolved questions to me, because the family is all remaining tight lipped about this. The other big problem is, all of her records are in Japan. She was born and raised there and came here when she was in her 20's. I dont even know where to start. HELP!

I am not LDS but live in the state of Utah and am really tired of this forum being used to castigate a group of people who are humans just like any of you. Its for genealogy not making insulting remarks about anyones religions. We all have our opinions about anything or anyone but this isn't the place for it. Go to the Philosophy forum to spout your vitrial not here. And before you mouth off about anyone or anything find out what your talking about before you make yourself look like a fool.
I am 81 years old and remember a man names Hitler and remarks like what is going on here scare me as I remember what he created for people that were of the "wrong"religion.

I recently learned from my mom (in her 70s) that we are somehow related to a former silent film star named Pola Negri, through my maternal grandmother's family. The info is word-of-mouth but it's possible, since we have pretty well-documented Polish ancestry on that side, but we're obviously not direct descendents so the actress is off on a "branch" somewhere if she's indeed a relative.

I know nothing about geneaological research and this is my first question in this section, so please forgive any naivete, but I am curious whether there is a resource for film star genealogies? Like most, her bio gives dates and places of birth/death and her parents' names, but nothing other than that. I just wondered if, with family info about someone fairly prominent, we could then work forward rather than backward to fill in the gaps between our known family history and hers?

It has us intrigued, and any suggestions are welcome.

Still can't find anything on this person. He died ONLY BETWEEN Nov. 1893 to Aug. 1894. Lived somewhere in the USA. Name: Hirsch / Hersch / Harry Siegel or Segall.
Was born in 1860 / Jewish from Lithuania Russia. Wife: Anna or Channe. Can anyone help us and find a guy CLOSE to this who ONLY died between these months. Would be from New York to Wisconsin. ( Northern states) My Dads grandpa. Maybe someone can help us and find him on a death list (somewhere) or a name close that died in this time period.My dads 86 and would love to know where his grandpa died.
