In East Retford Parish Church Register a John Littlewood has children baptised from 1737. Sadly, most of them died within days of birth. John is not mentioned as one of John's children. There are no other Littlewoods mentioned. I can find no record of birth or death for either John Littlewood in Retford parish registers.

Did you know that the ambilical cord blood can save lives of kids with cancer? Why is it not a mandatory question that mothers giving birth get asked? Is it an option anywhere in the world? & how can we let more people know this information? The stem cells taken from the ambilical cord can be grown to help grow what kids need to recover from lukemia. Some older children need twins cord blood, but in most younger childrens cases one is enough as long as it is of the right blood type and covers all the cross matching.

Men rule the world and that's how it is. Girls should do whatever men tell them to. But that's my opinion. What's yours?

My father and mother split up when I was 1 yr. old, that was 46 years ago. I have my fathers military papers that show his date of birth and S.S. #. It seems all of the sites I search charge a fee. Does anyone know of a site that does not charge? I really can't afford to pay but I would like to know if my father is dead or alive.
