If it is a straight line race, you are in second. If it is a race around a circular or oval track then you might be 2nd. But then again, you could have already been in 1st place and lapped the person, so you are still 1st. On the other hand, if you were third and the 2nd place person had lapped you, you are still 3rd, but now on the same lap.

She's good.......second place is my choice.Unless of course you wax philosophical and assume that the overtaking the second person is the second person in front of you, not in front of the group. In this scenario, your position is simply not last and definitely not first.

Depends. If you overtake person with second position in the race, you got the second postion and if after the race then you got nothing....
