hey! my teacher says soon i can start pointe(i dont know how soon). the problem is she forgets a lot of stuff. im afraid shell keep on putting it off and i will never get to go en pointe. is there any way to tell her without actually talking to her about it? also, i want to take more classes of ballet, im currently taking twice a week. my parents are fine with money, but they still say it cost too much. how can i get my parents to let me take more classes? (ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT POINTE SHOES OR PREPARING FOR POINTE WOULD BE GREAT!)

What would you consider to be the most enjoyable of the ballroom dances? If I were to go from taking group lessons to investing in private lessons, which dance should I focus on first?

i was registering for school and i had ball-room dancing instead of gym. the counseler told me that that was mostly a girl's class and wouldn't take the place of gym (and i know it would because my guidence counseler told me). she then erased it and put gym in. do you guys think that ball-room is for girls only?

I used to take Irish stepdancing, but I don't like it. I did cheer for a year and loved it but can't take it again. I don't want to take hip-hop. also, it can't be too expensive. Anyone have any suggestions?

My feet coordination is off (I trip over my feet and stumble, an I have 2 left feet on the dance floor) and I was wondering if dancing lessons could help. And if so what kind of dancing should I do?

I'm writing something for which I need to know if, in a ball in the 1800s ,there was a customary way in which a man invited a woman to dance with him.

Okay so we aren't allowed to wear bras because they'll show onstage and stuff. My teacher said to get an ace bandage for support. I got one that goes around the knee or shoulder. but im 16 and there is a lotttt of support needed. we had our first dress rehersal yesterday and i feel really uncomfortable and i looked saggy. after we were done on stage the bandage was all out of place. is there anyhting else i could do for support? id really appreciate help.

I'm 15 and I've always been in jazz and hiphop.. which is more like jazz... ballet or lyrical? I'm really flexible so I think I'd do good in lyrical.. but ballet dances are so pretty! I'd like some opinions!

I think it would the perfect job for me. Because I am very shy and if I danced in the background the crowd would'nt pay no attention to me. Only the star that's performing.
