I have been in a bellydance troupe for over 2 years, and I am now starting to dance on my own as well. I am having a hard time finding and picking out a stage name that suits me. I would like something exotic and meaningful as well. Any ideas?

It has always been a passion of mine to dance at home,bars,clubs anywhere and now i want to look more in depth into it can someone please help me with some advice. I even dance at home with me three children and love it as much as i do so where would i start?

In ballet the feet are supposed to be at a 180 degree angle, with heels touching....but i can't keep my balance. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? How can I keep my balance?

From the age of 3-10 I took dance classes durring the school year. I was never really interested in it and never practiced. Because of that I was much worse then the other dancers which made me hate it even more. But now at age 14, I'm really interested in it and I want to start again. But since I haven't danced for 4 years, I'll still be behind the other dancers. Do you think I should still rejoin? I'm really nervous about this.

I am a beginning oriental dancer. I don't feel I know traditional Egyptian music well enough to interpret it through dance. However I can feel and understand some of the Amr Diab lyrics (through translations). I probably won't be dancing for arabic people as I live in Japan. However I don't want to insult the art.
