Do/did any of you go to SAB? If so, any tips on auditioning and preparing for the audition? What do they want?? I'm 11, and I plan to audition for the fall term next year. I've done ballet for 61/2 years and started pointe this year. Any pionters? (no pun intended.)

Im asking a girl at my school to homecoming and ive decorated this locker to make it look like a beach and its got sand and all this cool stuff and so i have everything planned except the most important part, in the middle im putting a bottle with a message inside with a cork on it, but in the message i have no idea what to say!
does anybody have any ideas to incorporate the beach theme into the message of asking her to homecoming? ive been thinking but im stuck! anyidea of what to say ?

I'm in high school and after seeing a few performances by the poms squad, and besides the fact of going outside in nothing but thin long sleeves and leggings in freezing cold weather, I think I might want to join next year. I did ballet, tap and jazz from ages 3 to 10 and then I quit, but now I rejoined this year at age 14 and I plan to stay with it. Would that help at all? I can't do the splits (yet) but I want to by the end of next summer. Does anyone have any tips on what it takes to be in poms and what I should do to get ready before the next school year (I know I have a lot of time)

Bare feet, I mean, because we all know that they're graceful in pointe shoes.

I've heard that all the pointe work takes a serious toll on feet, with bunions and calluses and whatnot. It's pretty widely known that "dancers have professional... but ugly feet".

So, I'm just curious... what with all the pedicure salons on the street and foot treatment products on the market...

Does any ballet dancer actually manage to keep her feet pretty? "Pretty" as in... presentable enough not to be ashamed to go out in flip-flops and sandals?

I am truly clueless at what to do when I'm dancing. I've heard so many people say "move to the beat of the music", but whenever I do it looks ungodfully bad and people always laugh. Im in colorguard and we have to wear these outfits that have holes in the shoulders. We perform in the winter season and it gets REALLY cold. I need to find some kinds of long sleeve shirt/under armour/cheap version of under armour to wear for performances. Ive searched everywhere and im about to just give up and freeze on the field.
