I saw the tour in DC last night. I was really excited since I spent about $150 per ticket for a friend and I. We had great seats and a perfect view. It was pretty good at first, but then the shock of seeing them face to face wore off and I was bored to death. I am a dancer and have been since I was 3 (I'm 30 now), and I appreciate their talent, but it just dragged on and on for me. Everything was overpriced and it ran WAY too long. If they had ended it at the intermission I might have felt differently, but by the end I couldn't wait to get out of there and go home to bed!

I am often inspired to dance, but it happens when i feel like i wanna b lost in the moment and that i wish the moment will never end. I've also been part of dance teams in school and church. But i dont just dance to dance--or show, but i feel better when i dance to send a message. So am i really a dancer or something else?

Took a ballet beginning dance class since I haven't been dancing long time really wanted to start from scratch. Double checked with the studio if this is really a beginning class I was told that yes it is even that's an opening class. Finished the one hour class found out that all of the students in that class have been dancing for ages, I couldn't learn anything because there's no teaching, just practicing. They are all doing turns and jumps perfectly. I talked to the instructor after class she apologized and confessed to me that they couldn't get any new students since the old students are not willing to move to immed/advance class, and when the instructor trys to slow down to teach new students they would be like "hurry up don't wast my time!" I don't even kow should I believe what the instructor told me, but I just feel this is so unfair for new students like me who wants to go to a beginning class to learn some basic stuffs. Is there anything I should do?

Next year, my dance studio will be picking new girls for the lead role in our Nutcracker. I REALLY want to get picked _ I've been practicing endlessly and praying they'll pick me. In the next year, does anyone have any tips that will enable to prepare for the audition? Also, tips for actually doing the audition are appreciated as well. Thanks so much for answers in advance!

I am looking for a dance retailer that sells a mid-thigh length, royal blue skirt (not petal). It could be a dress too, I don't care about the top. I have looked everywhere and no luck, and yes, I have googled it. Preferably it would have a little bit of give in it so that I could wear a crinolin or tutu underneath and have it flair a little.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a tasteful place that I can learn how to stripdance with or without pole in chester county pa. My husband and I have been together for 11 years and we have just welcomed our 2nd baby into the world. I wanted to spice things up a little and get back into shape. I heard that pole dancing can really help you get into shape but the only place I have found online looks like it is designed for strippers to go to, it does not look very tasteful or clean. Please help, I would like to surprise my husband when we go away this winter. I live in downingtown, chester county pa
