My daughter is 9 years old. The dance teacher is the principal of the school. They have won some awards. SHe is getting bored of performances. Dance teacher adviced her to stay because she has potential. Is it true that ballet helps the child to develop firm steps?

I work a job where I stand all the time for 8 hours a day , 5-6 days a week. Recently my foot has had some mild burning sensation to it, particularly at the top region, spread out, but I have been ignoring it. Tonight, as I got out of my car and stood up, I felt a very severe burning sensation, much worse than before on my foot in the same area...like something exploded in there...just wondering what it may be before I head to the doctors. Please don't tell me to go see the doc, because I will, I just want to see what it may be first. thanks.

my sister does ballroom dance, and she has a really hard time finding modest ballroom dresses. she usually has to make them herself. does anyone know of a good website or anything where she could find some good dresses?
when i say modest, i mean shoulders covered, no low necklines, no low backs, and at least to her mid calf in length. (from this, i am sure you can see why it's so hard for her to find a dress)
