He has to know who he is and not be insecure in his manhood.
He has to have a gentleness about him.
Honesty and a sense of romance with a tad bit of mystery.
He should be good with animals (my husband is wonderful with pets)
Have a sense of good hygiene definitely. Keeping himself looking as good outside as he is inside.
Also able to laugh freely and joke around.
