my major/course in college is dance and my teacher wants me to write about how i integrate dance with my major- as in how to integrate dance with dance. pretty ironic huh?! but please help...

My friend is psych major and she is a dancer. She does all sorts of psychology studies about dancers and dancing and how it affects people's minds. Works great for her.
One of my coaches holds an engineering degree. She is able to explain dancing stuff very well because she understands mechanics.
My other friend is computer science major, and a dancer. She is working on developing robots. It is not easy to make a robot act like human. After studying dance, she says it is easier to think what muscles do what functions in the body and she finds it is easier to do computer simulations related to making the robot move like a human.

Does your teacher knows that your major IS dance? It seems strange to integrate dance with dance. It is already pretty integrated. I'd ask the teacher to re-phrase, just for you, or explain. If no explanation is possible, just write how dance is directly related to your major, and how that particular dance is enriching your experience and education.
