They often do it to songs like Sexy love by Neo or Jon B.'s Don't talk. Can anybody tell me the steps or know a link where I can find the step. All I'm finding is the older type ballroom dances latinas and whites do as partners. (NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE).

Well, I'm black, and the only dancing I can do is in the laboratory. With neutrons. Maybe I'm one of those defective people...

But I suppose that sort of answer isn't appropriate.

Why not ask someone how to do the dance the next time you see it being done? As long as you're not offensive in the question, (i.e., "OMG, I love when you people dance so well!"), I doubt someone's not going to show you how to do it right there. Or, as someone suggested, look it up online?

I hope you figure it out!

If I were you, I'd just go watch the people doing the dance you are interested in and try to move as they do. Ask someone for help if you are having trouble with something. Just be tactful and mindful not to speak from stereotypes.

Some of what you're looking for is called "Steppin". There are other dances called "The Electric Slide", "Booty Call", and some others. They are called "Urban Line Dances". Try these websites. They may take you to what you're looking for.
