Don't be a follower. Popular kids get popular by doing what they want, then everyone else respects them for it. If you like him, go for it - tell them that you think he's cute, and he's totally gonna be the next big thing. Don't think you're making yourself less popular by going for him - KNOW that you're making him more popular by asking him out!

wow that sux! well, i think that your first step should be to tell your friends to shutup the next time they make fun of him. Then, start hanging out with him a little more than usual to let ur friends know that u dont think he's a dork. Once they get the message, you should ask him out, because they wont be so surprised now that they have seen you hanging out with him! hope this helps!

ask him out if you really like him just follow your heart. yes i know what your thinking eaiser said then done but just ask him out in the most casual way short sweet and to the point get it? And if your friends really care about you they will totaly understand dont let them run your life they may be your friends but they dont own you anyway the boy is problely very nice and will like the fact that you stand up for yourself plus you get to know who really is your friend and that helps you in the long run. good luck

Just because your friends don't think he's cute doesn't mean he isn't a great guy. Don't worry about what they say and find out for yourself. IF you always listen to your friends, you'll be a very unhappy person.

you know... I would not care about my friends and would ask the person I am interested in out... If they really are your friends, they will still hang out with you.

gurl. follow your instincts.
go out with him if your little heart so desires.
if your frens give you crap abt it and keep on teasing, it really tells u the quality of those friends.
someitmes its not easy being a non-conformist, but it teaches u a leson on individualism, and also one on independence. it will benefit you :)
