I want to be a writer and would like as much encouragement as a can get. I'd also like to encourage others and discuss the joys and difficulties of the writer's craft. There aren't any writer's groups in my area and I wouldn't have enough time to attend as I might like to anyway. Does anyone know of any very good writers groups online? Also, is such a thing as being too old to start writing fiction, etc. Thanks.

Can anyone suggest a few good books that are centered around or occure in a medieval setting? Fiction or non, it doesn't matter. I have read the Wheel of Time series and loved it and have read Timeline, which is my current favorite. Anything along those lines would be great!

The search engines on online book store sites are really no help.

Thanks guys!!

I am living in China, and have been recently writing some travel articles. I know I can sell them directly to magazines and newspapers. However I would prefer to be able to find an agent to place them for me as I only want to write as a hobby, not as a full time job.

How can I find an good reliable agent?

I also need to know how it is significant to the work as a whole. And also if Huxley uses any specific writing style and an example, but the literary technique is #1. Thanks!!! Nothing better than procrastination and trying to throw a paper together at midnight!!

I read it, and I'm trying to summarize it... can you tell me what 'The Catcher in the Rye' is about. I need a little help on this one.

No I will not copy word for word or anything like that, but I want someone else to explain this to me in a short version.

Thank you if you can help.

There was this show on the abc called the worst witch. I thought it was a Harry Potter clone. but htem i did some reseach on the series and found that the books that the worst witch tv series were based on were written in the 1970's.
so I am wondering if JK Rowling borrowed any of her ideas from the worst witch series.
