I think you need to get its authenticity checked.
The 2nd edition of 'Wuthering Heights', with a preface by Charlotte Bronte, wasn't published until after Emily Bronte's death, so the signature inside your book cannot be that of the author herself.

i recently read wuthering heights and i must say i cried like a child. this may be blasphemy but it bears some resemblance to Gone with the wind and Bronte also reminds me of the characters in GWTW, having been orphaned, home schooled but educated all the same and died from illness. there is great passion in this book and is heightened, so to say, by the tragedy. the boundaries which reoccur throughout the book act as physical but also emotional barriers. i love this book and am very glad I'm taking my English A-level on it. i could ramble on and on about the relationships, the themes, language, imagery....my sister was disappointed when she read it because she wanted Heathcliff and Catherine together, but the eternal cycle lives on through Heareton and Cathy and i pointed out that it wasn't disappointment but in a way catharsis for without tragedy how can we feel joy?. you may have noticed but when Langdon is reading the bible in which Catherine wrote, she wrote Catherine Earnshaw, Catherine Heathcliff and Catherine Linton. if you read these names beginning from the end to front they tell the life story if young Cathy. fantastic isn't it? How could you possibly sell it????? dont!!!!!

Can't find any available. So, you know what it means: very expensive. Second edition means 1848.
Such books usually need to be authenticated by an expert, especially for the author's signature, otherwise nobody will take the risk of buying it for such a price. You have to go and see a professional antique bookseller, and a serious one.

You may want to try Christie's first:

As you stated...PRICELESS! I have no idea of the monetary value and if I owned such a rare thing, would never sell it. The Bronte sisters are my favourites. However, for insurance purposes it would be worth knowing....as you said...you know the answer! Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre are both so hauntingly beautiful! You are very fortunate!

I wonder if it's forged. It would be VERY easy to forge an autograph, but if it's real......I WANT IT!!!!! ;-) wink-- That's a fabulous book.
