D - an epic poem is a very long, narrative poem (it tells a story) and it usually includes a strong hero or protagonist who has both strengths but also some weaknesses, including, perhaps, something like greed or hatred or desire for revenge or self-doubt. The Odyssey is the classic epic poem.
