Books & Authors - February 2007

Note that I am living in the U.S., and I want to pre-order the U.K. version. Do anybody know where there is a site that don't charged too much on shipping and on the book itself? I just can't wait for the U.S. version because book 4 hasn't even been released yet. I already own the U.K version of book 4 which I bought off ebay. I know that book 5 isn't going to be released until somewhere early next year. T-T

These books were by two different authors whom I cannot remember their names. The books were titled; "Things As They Are" and "The House of 100 Fathers." Both were about children, one about a boy learning about the hypocrasy of adults and the other was about Vietnamese children who were orphaned and near starvation taken in by, I am not sure, maybe American soldiers? Thanks.

I can't recall her name or the name of the book and there are just too many 'working moms' books on amazon to search for. She is in her forties, and has like 11 kids, and is an excercise trainer or nutritionist or something. PLease help me locate her book... i remember a blurb somthing like, "if momma's not happy then no one is happy." and she speaks to this in her book about keeping sanity as a working mom and mom in general.

Empire is suposedly (as in -im not sure if that's the name of the book) the sequal to Eldest, which is the sequal to Eragon... but i want to know when it comes out because that's my second favorite book series (right behind the Cirque Du Freak series) and i want it soon after it comes out... not right after when it's like 50 dollars.
